I think normally CCs 32-63 are reserved for standard MIDI features. I
think, after creating your device, you add something like:
doev device_numer {}
In the manual it says that this only allows MIDI CCs 0, 6, 32, 38,
98-101 to go through as-is, but I remember an old synth of mine did use
other CCs that could be problematic.
