Midish and note off

Hey hey,
I am experiencing difficulties with some outboard gear. I have tested with 
direct connection and routing through Midish. The only difference in output is 
that my keyboard sends note off with velocity 0 and Midish sends note off, no 
velocity. I'm not sure what the difference between the MIDI commands is, it's 
the output of aseqdump.

Is there a way to transmit a note off with velocity 0? The keyboard I am using 
has no true note off velocity built into it, which is why it will always send 
0.
