Hello Jon,
if it hasn't come along very recently, there is no event editor. The only way 
to work on that level is by editing the Midish song file that you have saved 
with a text editor.

There is a way to do step sequencing from the computer keyboard. I have 
written a few procs for that:

Look for pstep and pstepv to work on a kind of grid or ppen and ppenv just to 
put note events at a very specific place. See also pgrid and plen.
