midish - how to extract time segment

Hello Midish gurus -

Is it possible, and could you please give an example of using midish
to extract a time-segment from a midi-file. Something so I could write a
wrapper
to be used like the following:

    midish-wrapper  -i BACH_BMINOR_MASS_1_04GLORIA_ten.mid -o osana.midi
-tbegin 0:42 -tend 1:33

This would extract from:
   BACH_BMINOR_MASS_1_04GLORIA_ten.mid

a sub-midi file:
   osana.midi -tbegin

starting after 42 seconds and end after 1-minute + 33 seconds of the
original.
