Midish on OS X?

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for an easy way to record sequences on a midi-enabled keyboard
that doesn't support saving them natively by running Midish on my Macbook
while the keyboard is connected via USB. Does Midish work on OS X?

Sounds like this has been asked here before
(http://ask.metafilter.com/226150/Simple-MIDI-recordplayback-on-OS-X) but
I couldn't find the conversation in the archives here.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!
