OK, I just did install Midish (the snapshot from Novembre 19 2020 and get this 
error after adding a cat event and inserting measures at bar 2:
seqptr_evmerge2: cat {1 0} 0: missing state
The taddev command is this:
taddev 0 0 0 {cat {1 0} 0};

Should I try the git version instead?
